Encrypted, both directions
On its way to us (TLS) and while it's stored. Documents, messages, photos, all of it.
Access is written into the database
Every record is tied to one sale, with row-level policies in the database itself, so a bug in a page cannot show a row the rules forbid.
Signed documents are sealed
The signed PDF, the certificate, the audit trail and each signer's consent record, archived together so the signature can be proven later.
Links are hashed, and most are single-use
A sign-in link, a signing link, a booking link: a random token, stored only as a hash, dead the moment it is used.

The four questions people ask first.
Do you need access to my personal inbox?
No, never. Your room gets its own email address. Mail for your sale goes there, and your personal inbox stays yours.
Are my documents sent to AI providers?
No. Your documents never leave Keighbor's own servers. The only outside AI call in the product is the "look this up for me" research button, and it sends your property's address and the question you pressed, never a document, a message, or anything you typed.
What happens if I connect my own AI, like Claude or ChatGPT?
It reads only the sales you choose when you connect it: the checklist, the calendar, the people, the email sent to the sale's own address, your documents' names and status, the sale sheet and your saved calculations. Never your personal email or calendar, and for now it can't change or send anything.
Is anything of mine used to train a model?
No. Nothing from your room is used to train any model, ours or anybody else's, and our contract with the research provider says the same about the address and question we send it.
